Masks of Adversity is my first collection. It’s an exploration of human resilience in the face of life’s challenges. An experience we all know too well. Through this collection, I go deep into the complex relationship between our authentic selves and the personas we may adopt to navigate difficult situations.

Each piece in the series represents a facet of our struggle with adversity be it external or internal – the strength we summon, the vulnerability we feel, and sometimes even the ugliness that emerges from our battles. The masks in my work symbolize both our coping mechanisms and the layers we wear to protect ourselves.

Ultimately, this collection is about resilience and self-discovery. It invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences, to recognize the universal nature of these struggles, and to find beauty in the process of unveiling our true selves despite the adversities we face.
